Synovial fluid is a viscous fluid produced within the synovial membrane of joints and secreted into the joint cavity. Synovial fluid lubricates joints and provides protection to articular cartilage and supporting tissue whilst providing nutrients and eliminating wastes from joints, which have limited perfusion capacity. The viscosity of synovial fluid is created by a glycosaminoglycan, hyaluronic acid (HA). Ensuring adequate levels of hyaluronic acid within synovial fluid allows the joint to maintain mobile and lubricated as well as providing protection to supporting cartilage. Inadequacy of hyaluronic acid within synovial fluid can lead to accelerated degeneration of joints associated with aging and strenuous work, ultimately resulting in a decrease in joint function and affecting the animal’s wellbeing.

SYNOVIAL GEL contains premium ingredients that allow for synovial fluid viscosity and hyaluronic acid levels to be maintained whilst acting as building blocks for cartilage. Horses:

< 500kg 10mL in Feed, Once Daily

≥ 500kg 15mL in Feed, Once Daily

Or as recommended by your veterinary healthcare professional.

Dogs:

< 15kg 1mL in Feed, Once Daily

≥ 15kg 2mL in Feed, Once Daily

Or as recommended by your veterinary healthcare professional.
